[After the NPCs do their thing on Sunday, Taichi is going to get sent a picture from Lalli! It's of the roof of the Fall Dorm, from a top-down perspective as if someone is standing on it. Because someone is standing on it, the tips of Lalli's boots are visible in the shot too.]

[Yep. He expects Taichi to climb up the building and get on the roof.]

[taichi has already been advised by someone that if he climbs a roof and breaks his bones he'll piss someone off. however, taichi also knows how to climb things, so there isn't a reply via text.

instead, a little while later, lalli will see a tanned hand grappling the edge of the roof before taichi pulls himself up. as he settles on the roof, he glances at him for a moment before glancing back to the ground.]

Couldn't've picked somewhere inside, huh?

[By the time Taichi gets up there, Lalli is sitting on the roof.]

We're not in the same dorm. It's not that easy.

[Lalli is also still disgruntled about sharing sleeping arrangements with strangers.]

It's better up here anyway. You can see everything.

Can't argue with that, I guess. [he will have a seat nearby, legs sticking out in front of him and hands behind him to support him.] Have you been coming up here a lot?

[silentscout]

Mhmm. I need to make the map in my mind.

[He sounds serious about that point, like it's something important to him.]

It's harder to do with so few landmarks.

[goalsides]

We've been talking about making a map, too. [so he doesn't seem to think anything of it.]

Haven't gotten around to it yet but I thought the same thing. If some of the construction really will be done by tomorrow maybe it's better to wait anyway.

Buildings can't be made that fast. They're probably already done and whoever is in control of this place just wants to be dramatic.

Depends on how long they've been under construction too. They might've been working on it way before we even got here. And if they're just renovations the original structures were probably still there.

[silentscout]

Maybe. But if everything was under construction, then why didn't those four say something about it?

[goalsides]

Mm...they kind of said things were being renovated and some of the buildings would be done soon. Luke couldn't give me an idea of which ones would be done, but it's gotta mean they're all in different stages of progress.

[silentscout]

Maybe. Or maybe Luck is just embarrassed that they weren't paying attention.

[goalsides]

Maybe. I don't know, they all seemed to follow the same story. Is it really possible that all four of them ignored the obvious for so long?

[it's kind of a rhetorical question.]

[Wheezes I just realized I wrote Luck instead of Luke]

It's that or they're in the same situation as us and are too embarrassed to admit to it. But that's possible too.

[goalsides]

[i gotchu, we good.]

There are a few other possibilities, too, but...I don't know how likely they are. They're pretty specific. If they are in the same situation as us though, why lie about it?

Dunno. I'm not good at people.

[He's not good at explaining himself either it seems.]

Like...talking to them, or understanding them?

[how does he keep meeting so many introverts.]

We're talking right now.

[Yeah he means understanding them.]

[goalsides]

Yeah, we are. [so he gets what lalli means, and he shrugs.] I don't know if people are ever really good at people? You just have to keep talking to them and eventually they become friends and it's easier.

[says the one whose profile tomorrow will reveal that he can't read a situation.]

[Honestly they match in that regard, they'll get along splendidly.]

I've only ever had one friend before. I don't think it's that simple.

What was your friend like?

[silentscout]

Very loud and opinionated. I can't even understand him most of the time but he never stops talking. Sometimes I can hear it when I'm sleeping too.

[When he says that, it's not with the usual bite that his petty complaints have.]

[...well that doesn't sound bad to taichi who is also loud and opinionated half the time, but given they're having this conversation on the roof away from people this makes sense.]

Sounds annoying. [but he sounds amused, like he doesn't believe that.] How long have you been friends?

[silentscout]

[He takes a moment to count back on his fingers, but in the middle of counting he abruptly stops.]

Does it count from when you met them? Or the first time you called them a friend?

[goalsides]

It counts for whatever you want it to count, probably. I guess maybe it starts the minute you start to get to know each other better.

[silentscout]

I don't really know that much about him. We speak different languages so I can't talk to him very much. His Finnish is terrible and I only know a little bit of Swedish.
