Week 0, post-trial

[Time to find Denji in the food hall! Food is valid after such a long trial. Lalli is even getting Kissa some before getting some for himself.

He sees Denji there too, and he frowns. Not because he's mad or anything, he just always frowns.]

Oh, hey dude. Getting some grub? I was starved.

Yeah, what was up with them keepin' us there without food or anything! They wanted us to do all that thinking hungry. And everyone's all freaked out.

Week 1, post-trial

[This time he's going to reach out to Denji via text, since he's been feeling absolutely shitty ever since trial ended.]

Where are you?

Hey was just about to go eat since the snack bag is empty what's up

I'm hungry too, I'll meet you there.

[It doesn't quite answer Denji's question, but he'll get an answer soon enough. Lalli will be heading off to the cafeteria after sending that text.]

[Denji's already sat at a table waiting whenever Lalli arrives, since he was probably just about there

He's got a couple plates spread out, all of which are different kinds of tempura]

[Lalli had placed a hotdog, a hamburger patty, and like 20 cookies on his plate. Yes, that's all he's taken. Meat with no buns, and cookies.

He does look at Denji's food curiously when he sits down though.]

Week 2, post-trial

[Time to go find Denji! Because Lalli has an important question.]

What's that thing in your chest?

Hmm? Oh, the cord? [he undoes a button or two and takes it out]

[Just watching Denji pull that shit out like it's NBD]

Yeah, that. What's it do?

Well, it doesn't do crap all right now. But before, it...

[seems to consider for a moment and look around]

You can keep a secret, right? It's not a huge deal but if it gets back to Public Safety that people know they'll execute me or whatever.

[Without any hesitation:]

[It's not like he's ever going to Denji's world anyway, he has nobody to tell.]

Week 3, Monday

[silentscout]

[It might be dinnertime, but Lalli is still looking for a food he recently discovered, and he's frowning when they don't have it. A hamburger is gotten instead (he immediately discards the bun and puts the toppings on the side) as well as tempura-fried veggies and some fruit.

Once he has his food, Lalli goes out and sits down next to Denji.]

There's no pancakes.

[sawboned]

[Denji, who is also eating a burger, just takes the bun and toppings for his plate]

Damn...I was thinkin' a pancake burger would be super tasty, too...

[Thank u Denji, he knew he could count on you to eat the parts he doesn't like.]

A pancake burger? How would you pick it all up?

[Sounds delicious but messy.]

Like normal! You just use the pancakes like bread, duh. There's no rules or pancake cops or whatever.

No, but they fall apart kind of easy. Then your food ends up on the ground.

Week 6, post-trial

[I am going to warp time and space so that this PC can happen, because Denji is the one person he'll actually visit in person.

But when he arrives where Denji is being held, he's going to linger at the door for a bit first. He seems to be waiting for some sign that Denji is okay with visitors, especially visitors who made some pretty bad choices in the last half-hour of trial.]

...Denji?

[denji is leaning back in a chair, with his feet up on a desk—he's looking out the window and holding pochita close while the little dog whines sadly

he turns around when lalli finally speaks up and grins at him]

Was wonderin' how long you were gonna stand there for.

Until you noticed.

[Seeing Denji grin like this is surprising, but he'll take it. So he carefully steps in, closing the door behind him, and goes over to grab the seat next to Denji.]

[he swings a chair over for him as he enters, and he lets them sit in silence for a moment as he pets pochita]

So...that was kinda crazy, huh?

[There is a pause from Lalli, the guy who derailed the last 20 minutes of trial to cover up a piece of evidence, and who possibly led to Denji being scapegoated.]

...yeah. It was.
