[Sure, he can do that. Stay still, stay silent.

Sieg goes unnaturally still, no breathing, no heartbeat at all. His gaze stays trained on the monster climbing to the top of the hospital. The biggest threat to them right now, and he's not sure how much he could really fight it off, if it came close.

Still, he has some sort of obligation to Lalli for getting him out of the tank. He'll do the most he can if it decides to turn on them for any reason.]

[Sieg is really too nice for this zombie world.

Lalli stays there on top of the bus, watching the hospital for signs of that monster of the bears. It's not safe here, and he would feel much better if he knew where all the threats were. Then at least he could try to protect himself and the strange man he's found.

A couple of minutes later, three people- a big burly man, a much younger man barely out of his teens, and a woman with fiery red hair- come scrambling out of the hospital. As soon as Lalli sees them, he perks up and points to them. Allies! And they seem equally terrified of the monster that just went into the building too!]

[He's not sure if it's safe anywhere considering all of these strange monsters that seem to be all over the place. He looks between Lalli and the people who came out. These are probably his friends? Maybe people don't travel alone anymore.

A hand motion that's something along the lines of "Going to them?"

It doesn't seem safe to stay on the top of this bus.]

[silentscout]

[Honestly? It's not safe anywhere. This is your world now, Sieg.

But Lalli nods at that gesture, so they can get down off the bus and run over to the group of three. Those three are covered in a lot of gross liquids and look like they probably went for a swim in blood at some point, so Lalli gestures to Sieg for him to stay back a bit. There's quite a bit of questioning going on, with Lalli and the younger blond man only barely able to communicate with each other through stilted speech. The other three seem to share a language and can talk freely, but it sounds different from what Lalli speaks to the blond boy.

Then the redhead looks to Sieg and says something in her language. Which is incomprehensible, but it seems to be a question. The bigger man follows it up with a question in another language, but it's also not Romanian or German so Sieg is out of luck there too. How unfortunate.]

[heartmunculus]

[... Oh no.

So there are different languages in the world, but Sieg does not understand anything they are using. There's a slow, apologetic shake of his head.]

Sorry, I don't understand.

[He says it in both German and Romanian.]

[Everyone there listens, but then shakes their heads. No common languages here, unfortunately.

But it's fine. Lalli is used to not being able to communicate with people. So he just points to the hospital and says two words: "Onni. Reynir." They're actually names though, and the other three seem to understand what Lalli is getting at. Two of their friends are still inside.

...all of them look hesitant to go back in. They all saw that monster, and they're right to be afraid of it. Lalli is going to glance to Sieg though, to see if he has any ideas.]

[He closes his eyes for a moment. So they want to avoid the monster, but their friends are trapped inside of a collapsing building. This body is fragile, but it's also not human.

... He could probably go through the building. Stay silent. He can do that much, even if he can't stay still if he's looking for them.

He points at the building and then at each window.]

Where?

[Do they know where their friends are in the building?]

[silentscout]

[The other three stand there dumbly because they really have no idea. Lalli however, is frowning.]

You can't go in there, we don't know if you're immune or not.

[The younger man perks up a bit at the word 'immune' and starts to ask Lalli a question, but Lalli just shakes his head. Then he points to the ground by their feet. They need to stay outside and help from here. Or at least that's his intention.]

[... Is it because they think he's human?

He doesn't know the word for immune, but he can sense there's some worry about him going in. Maybe... their words are something similar?

Sieg points at himself.]

Anorganisch.

Szervetlen.

["Inorganic". Is it close enough?]

[silentscout]

[It's...an interesting word choice, but it does make the older man's eyes light up in recognition. He consider this, and then he tries another word: "Immun?" Immune, in both Danish and German.

Everyone else still looks clueless but they may have found a way to kind of communicate!]

[heartmunculus]

[Okay, so that's something very close to German, or at least it sounds like it. He can work with that.]

Wahrscheinlich. Zu was?

["Likely. To what?" He's been in stasis for decades, he has no idea what's going on. The monsters?

He points at himself again.]

Nicht menschlich. Homunkulus.

["Not human. Homunculus."]

[silentscout]

[The man's understanding of that is limited because he doesn't really know what a Homunculus is. 'To what?' and 'not human' are easy enough to parse though, and he hums thoughtfully as he taps at his chin with his hand. What a mystery.

The redhead yells at him, and he says something to her. Something about 'their mysterious guest', and likely an explanation of what he understood. The smaller blonde man then translates that for Lalli, who says something in return, which then gets translated to the Danish man and this chain of translations is going to take forever to get through. But the man eventually says "You are magic?"]

[heartmunculus]

[He's not the one on the time limit. Sieg waits patiently for the translations to take place, until he gets the question.

OH! He definitely understands this.

A nod!

Since Lalli is also a mage and it doesn't seem like it's much of a secret between at least these people. Allies? Friends?]

[It's a good thing Sieg can't actually ask that question, because Lalli's lukewarm answer to it wouldn't be a good measure of how much to trust the group. They're fine, Lalli is just a tsundere.

But before much else can be said, there's another crash of glass and two more individuals come running out of the hospital. One of them strongly resembles Lalli too. Must be the missing friends, wow.

They won't be able to meet up with the others though, because a giant zombie bear with broken wooden spikes sticking out of it will burst out of the door next, roaring as it chases those two. They run off in one direction, away from the rest of the people.

And then the headless monster comes out too. Looks like this group is about to get chased as well.]

[Those are their friends! But now they're getting chased in an opposite direction and Sieg's assumption is there's a reason they're not bothering to fight these monsters head on.

Immune... Immune to whatever disease made these things so horrific, maybe?

He doesn't have long to think in the heat of things, his right hand clenching into a fist.]

Straße/Gehen.

[What looks like green electricity and blue fire surrounds him, where once there stood Sieg, there's now a towering black dragon, Fafnir, blocking off the monster from the rest of the group. He lowers himself down enough so they can get on.

This is going to exhaust him later, but for now he can hold this form.

His 'voice' will resonate in their heads.]

Aufsteigen. Fliege.

["Let's go. Fly."]

[Everyone at once is saying different things, but they're probably variations on 'is that a fucking dragon???' so it's fine. It's fine! Sometimes a person you found in a tube turns into a dragon. It just be like that.

And, well. If the choice is between flying on a talking dragon and facing certain death, Lalli at least will take the dragon. He's immediately climbing up, and the redhead shouts something that is probably "FUCK YEAH!" before climbing up two. The other two men are much more hesitant, but one more look at the headless beast is enough for them to decide sure, let's ride the dragon.

There you go Sieg. Four humans, ready to fly.]

[Yeah! Sometimes the homunculus you rescue from being a battery for (mumbles vaguely) years is also part dragon! Just go with it.

He's sure the four of them are on and he hopes that they're actually holding some scales or something, because he's not waiting any longer before he starts flying in the direction of the other two.

If the forest cover isn't too bad, he can easily follow- if it isn't, then he's jus going in the direction he's pretty sure the monster went.]

[They're holding on enough to not fall off at least. Even if the bigger man has to grab the smaller man's shoulder to stabilize him. There is definitely a lot of screaming from the smaller man though, and the redheaded woman is letting out a whoop of excitement at the flight.

Lalli meanwhile wishes they would all shut up.

The forest cover is thick in some places, but the roads are open and visible at least. Sieg will be able to track the other two, partially because of the open spaces from the roads and partially because bear loud. Those last two don't seem to have noticed the bigass dragon flying at them yet though.

Lalli shouts something and points down at those two running though. The big man then helpfully says "rescue", just in case Sieg didn't understand.]

[Four, or three(?) people screaming is not nearly as awful as the screams of war. He can deal with this just fine. Especially because he has a goal he's trying to reach.

Kind of funny they don't notice him, but the bear is certainly the most immediate threat. He can't really blame them for focusing on getting away from this thing that seems ready to murder them the second it gets its paws close enough.

He flies down, a bit ahead of where the runners are. Hopefully the people on his back can communicate that he's helping.]

Fliege.

[Sieg lowers himself far enough that the two can climb on.]

[Oh look, now there's even more screaming. The one that looks kind of like Lalli is throwing the other one onto Sieg's back though, as he has the most sense of anyone in this group.

But as they load up, the biggest bear is launching itself at Sieg and aiming to grab onto one of his limbs. It wants to bite.]

[heartmunculus]

[It can certainly try, but his body is covered in dragon scales.

He uses a free claw to swat the bear away. With how this forest is, it would be a terrible idea to breathe fire here. Not to mention he'll deplete his mana reserves even faster than just being in this state.]

[silentscout]

[The bear is swatted! And it falls down.

Time to fly away to somewhere safe, while all the humans on Sieg's back are in some state of screaming.]

[heartmunculus]

[If nobody gives him a direction to go, he's just going "away" from the hospital. Sieg can maintain this form for about an hour before he needs to rest.]

[Lalli is definitely going to try pointing out a place for Sieg to go. It's not terribly far away, but far enough from the bears and that...monster-thing that they won't be an immediate worry. There's also a clearing for Sieg to land in so he doesn't have to crash through trees.]

[Works for him! Once they get there, he reverts back to his humanoid form, and he looks exhausted. Turns out being a dragon takes a lot out of his magical reserves.]
