They're getting there. Otome-san helped make them a little less raw, so it's just about letting the burns scar over and waiting for my wrist to heal. The frostbite should probably get better on its own, too.

How did you even end up with burns and frostbite at the same time?

Fire monsters, ice monsters and lightning monsters. We had to go up against a bunch of stuff on our way up to each new platform.

That sounds terrible. It's a good thing you didn't get too hurt, those kinds of wounds don't heal easily. We would have needed more magic.

Kainè's weapon gave us a minor amount of healing in between platforms, so I'm pretty sure that's the main reason it didn't get as bad as it did. We managed to hold our own pretty well though. [there's a frown.] The girls got the worst of it though. At least they're starting to heal, too.

It's good that we have ways to heal people here. It would take so much longer to recover without that magic.

Tell me about it. I'm still kinda mad we even have to pay for healing magic or medical supplies at all but that's neither here or there I guess.

Paying for supplies gets our dorms points, so it's not as bad as it could be.

[At the second part though, Lalli goes quiet for a moment.]

...it turned out alright in the end. Even if there were parts where I didn't think it would.

That's if the points even really matter. I'm still not entirely sure. [but...hum.]

...it was like that for us, too. I really thought we wouldn't get out alive at the end until that mouse showed up.
